As Project Director SAP Lifecycle Management, you will assume overall strategic and operational responsibility for the planning, initialization, and execution of complex SAP transformation and implementation projects in an international corporate environment. You will manage cross-functional teams and be responsible for successful implementation throughout the entire project lifecycle, drawing on your professional and technical SAP domain expertise and applying relevant project management methods.
Strategic management of company-wide SAP projects with a focus on S/4HANA migrations and digital transformation
Leadership and development of interdisciplinary project teams within an international matrix organization
Management and coordination of external consulting partners and technical service providers
Overall responsibility for project architecture, including planning, budgeting, resource management, timelines, and quality assurance
Effective stakeholder management and close cooperation with international departments and decision-makers
Management of critical project phases such as risk, test, cutover, change, and communication management
Use of established project management methods – classic and agile – depending on the project context and objectives
Extensive experience as an SAP Solution Architect or SAP Solution Owner with in-depth expertise in SAP Finance & Controlling and/or Sales & Distribution
At least eight years of project management experience in large-scale, business-oriented SAP ERP transformation projects
Successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA rollouts in international corporate structures, preferably in the high-tech, automotive, chemical, or manufacturing industries
Proven competence in establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external project stakeholders at all levels
Intercultural experience in working with global teams, particularly in Europe and Asia
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams in a goal-oriented manner
Excellent communication skills in English at executive level; German language skills are an advantage
Entrepreneurial thinking with strategic planning skills and strong implementation skills in the context of digital initiatives
Analytical thinking, results orientation, and resilience – even in complex and dynamic project environments
