Job Description

As a Product Sourcing Manager at Advantest, you play a central role at the interface between Procurement, R&D, Product Engineering, and Project Management. You are responsible for both the strategic and operational sourcing throughout the entire product development process – from the initial concept to market introduction.

Your key responsibilities include:

Managing the New Product Introduction (NPI) process within Procurement, from the first prototypes to series production, including active ramp-up management during the market launch phase Developing and implementing supply chain strategies in NPI projects Ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and on-time availability throughout the product development and introduction process Conducting proactive risk analysis and mitigation within the supply chain Coordinating and leading interdisciplinary project teams Communicating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across all organizational levels
Requirements:
University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, project purchasing, or supply chain management Solid knowledge of electronics manufacturing; experience with V93000 products is a plus Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) Experience in Cost Management, Cost Structure Analysis, Product Life Cycle Management and Supplier Development Strong project management skills and experience in managing complex projects Excellent English skills (spoken and written); good German skills are beneficial Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style Strong communication skills, team spirit, and intercultural competence * Willingness to travel max. 25%
