Collections is a vital part of our overall leasing and financing operation. By driving down unpaid invoices at an early stage by opening up a direct dialogue with our customers for finding sustainable solutions, we can allow them to minimize the financial consequences of their delinquencies and ultimately, to keep their vehicles on the road. To establish and maintain such a direct dialogue and to subsequently find and offer the most optimal sustainable solutions requires great skill. By that, collections is an ideal growth path for those already excelling in a customer service environments and having a strong drive to further improve their conversation and negotiation skills.

Within a team of 17 passionate, talented and driven professionals, you take on the challenge to deal with customers being delinquent on their lease(s) in the most optimal and sustainable fashion. Together with your colleagues, you yourselves organize every day in a highly self-sufficient way. We frequently realign between the priorities and needs that appear during the week. As we are a multinational and multilingual team, our team language is English.

Your daily tasks will be:

Responsible for retail areas. Reaching out to delinquent customers using telephone and email. Negotiate with customers to collect monthly installments from customers facing a problem of high arrears by using available technology while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Finding the most optimal way to convey the message and persuading the customer by applying your conversation and negotiation skills and innovative approach. Use negotiation tools to determine a customer\'s reason for delinquency. Provide proactive thinking to utilize internal "tool kit" to assist customer on determining the proper solution.

Conduct extensive research both online and through the optical archive to find contact numbers and email addresses of clients that cannot be reached

Designate and optimize conversation strategies to identify and cope with different customer attitudes

Continuously endeavor to improve your contact and persuasion strategies by giving and receiving peer-feedback and listening back to recorded telephone conversations

Cooperate and liaise with colleagues of different departments based in Brussels, Luxembourg and Utrecht on individual matters such as customer complaints, correction of invoices etc.

Provide support to collections third parties based in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands

What you bring to the table:
