The Role

We are looking for an experienced and analytical

Production Planner (m/f/d)

to take ownership of building, managing, and continuously improving our production planning processes.

In this key role, you will ensure that our unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) platforms are manufactured efficiently, on time, and in line with available resources.

You will work closely with Production, Purchasing, Engineering, and Sales, providing transparency on capacities, material availability, and bottlenecks. Through data-driven analyses, you will create sound decision-making bases for management and play a crucial role in scaling our production in a fast-growing, technology-driven environment.

Your Responsibilities

Build, implement, and continuously improve production planning processes in SAP (e.g. master data, bills of materials, routings, planning parameters) Create, maintain, and optimize production and capacity plans, considering material availability, delivery deadlines, and resource utilization Closely collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and internal demand owners to develop a reliable forecast Analyze and evaluate production KPIs such as OEE, lead times, on-time delivery, inventory levels, and capacity utilization Prepare, visualize, and interpret production data using tools such as Power BI Identify bottlenecks, risks, and structural weaknesses within production and derive effective countermeasures Prepare decision papers, scenario analyses, and recommendations for production and capacity planning

Your Profile

Completed degree or vocational training in Production, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field Several years of professional experience in production planning, work preparation, or production control, ideally in an industrial or high-tech environment (e.g. automotive, machinery, robotics) Strong knowledge of SAP production planning (e.g. PP / MM) High data and process affinity with proven experience in analyzing complex production data and KPIs Confident use of Power BI or similar business intelligence tools Solid understanding of bills of materials, assembly structures, and material requirements planning Experience in cross-functional collaboration, especially with Sales and Project Management Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style Strong sense of ownership, decision-making ability, and communication skills Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment German proficiency at C1 level, English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Tool Stack (experience preferred)

SAP (PP / MM) Power BI Microsoft Excel (advanced proficiency) ERP and production planning systems
