DEPARTMENT: Sustainability
As part of parental leave coverage, we are looking for a sustainability specialist (m/f/d) with a technical focus. The position is limited to 16 months (ideally from 1 March 2026 to 31 July 2027). You will be part of the global sustainability team based at our headquarters in Hamburg.
YOUR TASKS
Prepare Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies for components, turbines, and projects
Enhance modeling and reporting for Product Carbon Footprints
Manage interface topics between Sustainability and Engineering / Service
Contribute to the development and implementation of our sustainability strategy
Track product sustainability related requirements
Support recycling initiatives
Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders across our value chain
Support and contribute to sustainability reporting
Participate in industry working groups
YOUR PROFILE
University degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering with a focus on environmental topics, or a similar field of study
Solid knowledge of LCA modeling, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and relevant standards
Several years of professional experience in a related field
Fluency in English and German
Enjoy working in a motivated, collaborative team
Independent, structured, and goal-oriented work style
Strong analytical thinking skills
