THE ROLE

Zattoo is making streaming easy, live and on demand. We build a Universal TV App, available on various Big Screen, Mobile and Web platforms like Apple, Android, Samsung, Amazon Fire TV and many more. As the Product Manager User & Customization, you'll be collaborating with developers, designers and business stakeholders on a broad set of product components.



In collaboration with our Principal Product Managers, you will be the go-to person for any department and stakeholder for all product-related questions about user settings and all other customizable aspects of the Zattoo experience. Together with the User & Customization Squad, you will realize projects aimed at improving the user experience, comfort, retention as well as direct communication between the product and the end user.

THE ENDUSER PRODUCT TEAM

The Enduser Product Team consists of 6 Product Managers, one Principal Product Manager and the Head of Enduser Product. Together they are responsible for products that are built, maintained and innovated for the end users of Zattoo's own brand (Direct to Consumer) as well as the users of our White Label customers. Each PM works with a cross-functional development squad, formed to support the development needs of the specific product area (Value Stream). The squads plan and organise their work autonomously but in close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders, guided by the company's Strategy, Objectives and Key Results and Company Projects. Experiences, processes and approaches are exchanged and challenged within the PM-Chapter, which includes all of the company's PMs

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Full responsibility for maintaining and developing product components within the Value Stream "User & Customization" Planning and coordinating work within the Squad, using SCRUM methodology Translating business requirements into user stories and work items for the development squad (Jira) Partnering with stakeholders and squad members to brainstorm ideas for improving and developing the product Building and committing to a quarterly roadmap for the product, balancing stakeholder needs, the squad's own initiatives, and available resources Prioritizing development work and feature realization in accordance with the company's business goals. Supporting the squad members in their daily activities by coordinating and adjusting tasks and offering guidance. Being part of interdisciplinary projects aimed at improving User Experience, resulting in strong User Retention

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in the digital product space Ability to understand and internalize complex technological issues and articulate them to both engineers and non-engineers. Lateral Leadership Skills: Ability to collaboratively lead a group of people without being the squad members' line manager Familiar with reading, analyzing and applying business-related figures and indicators. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience with hosting meetings and workshops Curiosity and motivation to become an expert and support others with your knowledge Willingness to take over tasks and responsibilities, manage expectations, and be accountable for the results of the Squad
