The Product team at Shine




At the heart of this mission is our Product team, shaping the tools that power small businesses.


The product is at the heart of Shine's strategic model, and this team plays a key role in achieving our ambitious goals for the coming years. To align our product vision at all levels of the company, Product Management is closely involved with all the other teams (Customer Support, Design, Engeneering, Revenue, etc.)


We are now looking for a Product Manager to join our

Invoicing Team

, dedicated to delivering a simple, intuitive, and feature-rich invoicing experience that small businesses can trust and rely on.


Our product organization is divided into 5 teams : Ecommerce, Accounting, Banking, Payroll and Invoicing, which you will be part of.

Your role as a Product Manager in the Invoicing team



This position is available on a fixed-term contract,

for a period of 1 year

.


As a Product Manager at Shine, you will play a key role in defining the product strategy, deeply understanding user needs, and building a roadmap with real impact. You will work closely with Product Designers, Product Marketing Managers, and Software Engineers to craft seamless solutions, while collaborating with Customer Care, Operations, and Marketing to ensure a consistent and integrated experience across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:



Deeply understand the business and customer challenges through research and interactions. Identify, prioritize, and address key customer problems and opportunities. Develop intuitive and impactful invoicing features. Shape product strategy and roadmap with fast iteration and learning. Manage cross-team coordination and complex dependencies for successful launches. Foster alignment and remove blockers in cross-functional collaboration. Enhance the ecosystem through product integrations. Track feature performance and iterate for continuous improvement. Experiment early to mitigate risks and focus on the right solutions.


Job located in Berlin, with possibility of two remote working days per week

About you




You are passionate about building products that make a real difference for small businesses. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working collaboratively with teams across different functions.


You would be a great fit if you:

Have 3/5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a fast-paced startup environment, preferably in B2B SaaS or consumer products Are data-driven, using analytics and customer insights to shape product decisions Have a strong understanding of UX/UI principles and collaborate closely with designers and engineers Are skilled at prioritization, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business impact Possess excellent communication skills: you can clearly explain complex decisions, adjust your messaging to your audience, and foster alignment across teams Embrace a strong feedback culture: you give and receive constructive input with empathy, clarity, and openness to change Can navigate ambiguity and handle changing directions with humility, especially when plans evolve through collaborative discussions The ability to ease situations and help teams move forward constructively Have a solid understanding of compliance and risk management in fintech projects (bonus) Are comfortable working in an international and fast-moving environment Speak English fluently (French is a plus!)
