• Purchasing and procurement of capacity for international transports
• Carry out market analyses and support tender processes according to project schedule
• Manage and monitor contract database
• Follow up freight rate adjustment and ensure actual rates in database
• Identify and research potential new suppliers and develop the supplier portfolio pool
• Investigate new logistics routings and analyze impact of potential changes
• Negotiate with customers and suppliers
• Lead kick-off meetings with customers and suppliers
• Supporting high management sales activities
• Preparation of result reports

• University degree in business administration / engineering / logistics or comparable knowledge and abilities gained through professional training and experience
• Several years of work experience in project management in the logistics sector, preferably in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of operational finished vehicle logistics aspects along the supply chain is an advantage
• Strong set of soft skills, including negotiation- and consulting skills,
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently and deliver results under pressure
• Excellent analytical skills
• Self-confident and persuasive appearance in front of clients and suppliers
• Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness for European-wide business travel
