The following challenges await you:
You will take charge of process development in the field of printed electronics and lead a team of five employees
You will define and develop the critical production steps and tools for the Prexonics inkjet printer, including pretreatment and sintering processes, and determine all relevant process parameters and recipes
You will develop and validate production processes up to series production readiness for applications such as EMI shielding, RF antenna printing, FPCBA, and board-level EMI shielding, based on customer specifications and requirements
You will work closely with customers in the semiconductor industry, carry out customer-specific initial sampling, optimize processes to reduce costs, and support major customer projects from sampling to series production approval
You will document all tests and analyses and use AI-supported evaluations to implement process improvements more quickly
You will cooperate closely with the Chemistry (ink formulation and validation) and Industrialization (plant engineering) departments to generate optimal process parameters for MOD inks on Prexonics equipment and provide feedback to product development
You will determine the roadmap and strategy for process development for all materials and process steps in inkjet printing
You will work with external research institutes, universities, and laboratories to conduct tests and analyses and demonstrate the advantages of inkjet technology
You will be responsible for the budget for process development and will be a member of the management team
Your profile:
Master's degree in chemistry, materials science, or mechanical engineering with a focus on processes
At least 5–10 years of management experience in development/R&D
Relevant experience in inkjet printing and radiation-based sintering technologies (UV-LED, infrared, flash, etc.)
Strong data analysis skills (MiniTab desirable) and data visualization
Experience in design of experiment (DoE) and statistical analysis at yellow belt level
Experience in sintering technologies, chemical conversion processes of MOD ink during sintering, and influencing factors
Work in a highly dynamic environment with an interdisciplinary team and challenges
High level of self-motivation to solve complex problems
