Electrophysiology (in vivo and/or in vitro) Stereotaxic surgery Behavioral experimentation in rodents Data analysis (preferably Python/R), visualization and interpretation
Ihre Qualifikationen
We welcome diverse applicants with a PhD in neuroscience, biology, neuroinformatics or related field, and a strong interest in solving fundamental questions that link behavior, single cells and neural circuits

Einleitungstext
One postdoc position is available at the European Neuroscience Institute in Göttingen, Germany, in the team of Dr. Petzold (“Brain-Body Interactions”). Proposed start date is January 1 2025, but flexible. Our work centers around the neural circuitry that enables flexible behavioral adaptation as needs change. This particular project focuses on subcortical circuits for the regulation of innate behavior according to hormonal states in mouse models, using single-cell miniscope imaging, electrophysiology, opto- and chemogenetics and molecular analysis.
