Qualifications

Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program at a technical or community college, college, or university. Able to read, understand, speak, and write English fluently. Possess organization, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate medical requirements to patients, families/caregivers, and medical and non-medical staff professionally and courteously.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Assist in planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care interventions Apply therapeutic principles to support functional recovery and daily living activities Collect and document patient performance data accurately Monitor and report patient responses to treatment Support therapists with evaluations, tests, measurements, and procedures Coordinate and delegate appropriate therapeutic exercises and physical therapy interventions Collaborate with staff and network providers to ensure continuity of care Facilitate, fit, instruct, and establish use of adaptive equipment, orthoses, braces, and other therapeutic devices Ensure equipment safety and cleanliness; submit work orders for repairs as needed Maintain the rehabilitation space and monitor upkeep of therapy equipment

DOCPER/SOFA/Logistical Support Status

This position is not eligible for support under NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) supplemental agreement articles 72 or 73.
