Workplace assignments:

Collaboration and qualification (PhD) within the project ‘Determination of the feed value of foliage from agroforestry and heat-tolerant plants for ruminants' Feed sampling and nutrient analyses Ration formulations for sheep Conducting feeding and balance trials with sheep, incl. sample collections Application of analytical methods, e.g. photometry, enzyme activity measurement, PCR, direct and indirect calorimetry Data analyses, statistical evaluation Result presentations at conferences Writing publication manuscripts and reports

Your training and skills:

University degree in veterinary medicine, agricultural science or a comparable field of study Sound knowledge of animal nutrition, animal physiology and feed science Practical experience in working with ruminants Sense of responsibility, operational readiness, and physical resilience according to the area of duties Experience in using MS Office software Commitment and ability to work in a team Good written and spoken English and German
