As part of your PhD in our Skin Rejuvenation and Longevity laboratory, you will:
Use cell- and molecular biological methods combined with bioinformatic approaches to gain new insights into the complex processes of skin aging and to deduce novel skin rejuvenation concepts and hypotheses.
Be part of a friendly interdisciplinary team of bioinformaticians and biologists
Gain insights into the R&D processes of a leading global skin care company.
Your Profile
----------------
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, biomedical sciences with basic knowledge in bioinformatics (R/python, omics data analysis)
Experience in cell culture, cell analysis and standard molecular biology techniques (e.g. nucleic acid extraction, protein purification, Knockdown/Overexpression)
Desirable experience in immunoprecipitation, CRISPR/Cas9 editing and/or omics technologies
Experiences in programming with R and familiar in working on a Linux system, in analyzing genome-wide NGS data (e.g., RNA-Seq and or EM-Seq/ WGBS) is a bonus
Highly motivated to work molecular biologically and bioinformatically
Problem-solving mentality
Strong team orientation
Strong written and oral communication in English
