As part of the Photobiology & Skin Protection laboratory, the PhD thesis aims to characterize UV damage induced changes of molecular pathways in the skin context to develop novel photoprotective concepts and strategies. Your Profile

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, biomedical sciences preferentially with basic knowledge in bioinformatics (R/python, omics data analysis) Experience in cell culture, cell analysis and standard molecular biology techniques (e.g. nucleic acid extraction, protein purification, Knockdown/Overexpression) Desirable experience in immunoprecipitation, CRISPR/Cas9 editing and/or omics technologies Problem-solving mentality Strong team orientation Strong written and oral communication in English
