Pattern Maker Trousers (m/w/d)

We in product development don't just talk about digitization; we simply do it. Fashion you can touch is available to us virtually. For that, we need you as an expert in pattern construction to build and expand the foundation of our product development and, consequently, our product quality.

Your Task

You are responsible for establishing and expanding a market-appropriate standard pattern library for a defined product group to ensure a consistent and customer-oriented fit. Additionally, you create and manage standard patterns, including grading in 2D, and support our product group specialists in updating and developing silhouettes and measurement concepts, including fitting the developed size sets.

Your Contribution

You develop the standard patterns based on our specifications in the 2D system and check the fit of the base size and size sets either digitally in our 3D software or on the physical sample.

Your Environment

As part of our Technical Product Development & Digital Innovation department, you work closely with our international offices and internal interfaces (e.g., product management, project team).

Your Freedom

You are an expert in pattern construction within our team for a specific product group. Based on your expertise, you implement new working methods that contribute significantly to fit consistency, product quality, and competency development. This position is flexible with regards to office presence and would require working from the office about once or twice a month for fittings.

Your Education

You have a completed degree in clothing technology with a focus on pattern creation/CAD/product development or a comparable qualification as a pattern maker.

Your Experience

You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in all essential processes of clothing and pattern development, especially in "Plus Sizes" and trousers.

Your Skills

Additionally, you have extensive know-how in first pattern creation, pattern development & modification, and grading in CAD software (e.g., Assyst). Fluent English and German skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.

Your Soft Skills

You have a good sense of fashion trends and their commercial implementation to execute products market-appropriately, effectively, and efficiently, while providing impulses for the further development of our fits. You also enjoy shaping changes as part of a team and sharing knowledge with all involved.
