Job Description

What's it all about?

You conduct comprehensive training sessions for our customers on the application of OMICRON’s partial discharge (PD) solutions – with the goal of providing them with confidence and expertise in using our technology. You analyze PD measurement data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and provide specific recommendations for our customers. You prepare reports on customer assets based on third-party measurement data or our monitoring solutions and provide recommendations based on the analysis of PD data. You offer technical application support and consulting to customers, responding to inquiries related to our partial discharge and monitoring products. You work closely with our international sales team, supporting offer preparation, customer visits, and training sessions. You also collaborate with our development team, contributing your knowledge of PD-related topics and common customer challenges. You continuously expand your own knowledge in the field of partial discharge measurement and related technologies in order to provide high-quality technical support and consulting.



What are we looking for?

You have hands-on experience with electrical equipment in the medium- and high-voltage sector, with a focus on partial discharge (PD) measurement and diagnostics. You possess a solid background in electrical engineering and show a willingness to specialize in new topics. You bring experience in the high-voltage energy sector, ideally with a degree in electronics or electrical engineering with a focus on high-voltage engineering or alternatively, by vocational training and further qualification as a certified technician. You show a proactive and self-motivated working style. You are fluent in both English and German, in spoken and written communication. You have a collaborative mindset, are flexible, and are willing to travel internationally up to 40% of the time. You possess very good communication and organizational skills.
