PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We are seeking an ambitious, motivated and experienced individual to ensure high quality PA and operational support is provided to the Head of Region in Germany.
This is an exciting hands-on role, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of different areas within the firm. Within this role you will be a key point of contact / liaison between the UK and the German offices and will build relationships with a range of key stakeholders.

DUTIES:
Provide comprehensive support to the Head of Germany and Fee Earners. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Extensive diary and email management, including proactive planning, travel and meeting coordination, identifying scheduling conflicts, and independently resolving them where appropriate.
  • Support the organisation of partner meetings, including agenda coordination, document preparation, and attending meetings to take minutes where required.
  • Support the management of the partner performance and compensation process, including scheduling review meetings, managing partner team meetings, and collecting and distributing supporting documentation
  • Support the Head of Germany with partner and fee earner promotion processes, including managing and submitting business cases.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to support the financial performance of fee earners, including billing and reporting.
  • Manage all matter management processes, including dispute reviews and client due diligence.
  • Deliver high-quality work and demonstrate technical expertise to support fee earners, proactively identifying and addressing knowledge gaps.
  • Adhere to the firm's risk and compliance policies and procedures, escalating any questions or issues promptly to the appropriate partner and/or the Risk and Compliance team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Minimum of three years' experience gained in a comparable environment (ideally law firm) at an appropriate level.
  • Confident stakeholder manager, with proven experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Dynamic problem-solver, capable of finding creative, commercial, and pragmatic solutions where required.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to meet client needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
