This position is part of Emerson’s
Isolation Valves
. You will work with existing customers, mostly in German language, and approach new potential customers to tailor our solutions to their needs. If you like to travel, are fluent in German and engage with customers by providing high levels of service, this might be the right opportunity for you!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Establish, expand and acquire new customers as the first point of contact for comprehensive customer support in the field of valve technology in the region
Actively visit and support existing customers
Prepare customer inquiries for processing by the back office
Manage and further develop Emerson’s market position by understanding the customer’s business drivers & goals and keeping up to date with their situations
Prepare and be responsible for an annual booking budget by product / value / period
Understand and work in team project form for integrated requests
Participate in relevant industry events

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering / technical field or equivalent experience
Proven
sales / business development
experience in a
B2B technical environment
Affinity towards technology and innovations and
good technical understanding
Proficiency in
English and German language
Availability to frequently travel
in the assigned territory
Driving license
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Matrix organization experience
Experience in
industrial automation environment
; with a good knowledge of similar technical products (isolation valves, actuators,) and understanding of similar industries (
