JOB DESCRIPTION



We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven NodeJS Team Lead to spearhead our innovative sports technology initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will drive performance excellence while leading a small team of NodeJS developers focused on delivering cutting-edge live web results for premier sporting events such as the Olympics and World Cups.

PROFILE


8+ years of professional software development experience 4+ years of professional Node.js development experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent Proven experience designing scalable, maintainable, cloud-based systems Resilient and adaptable, able to thrive in dynamic and high-pressure environments Strong communicator who can articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences Proactive in identifying risks and developing effective mitigation strategies Exceptional problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail Skilled at establishing and enforcing code standards, testing strategies, and deployment processes Available for international travel (approximately 20%) and remote on-call support PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS


Proven experience in developing and delivering backend web applications with Express/Node.js Solid frontend web development experience, ideally (but not necessarily) with Vue.js. Strong knowledge of Cloud platforms (e.g. AZURE, AWS) You have experience of automated testing, monitoring and deployments, as well as good understanding of Agile principles and DevOps practices Previous experience in C#/.Net is desirable, but not required. Willingness to learn and work in C#/.Net project is however a requirement. LANGUAGES
