Network Security Architect (m/f/d)


Your Tasks


Position Goal:

As a Network Security Architect, you will be responsible for safeguarding our network architectures in hybrid environments. Your goal is to design a robust and scalable security infrastructure that ensures integrity and resilience across all network domains.



Job Description:

Develop and maintain network security architecture for hybrid environments (terrestrial, non-terrestrial, space-based) Define and implement security policies and technical controls for core, edge, and user segment networks Ensure secure integration of communication systems across terrestrial, satellite, and cloud domains Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability analyses Coordinate with subcontractors to implement security requirements and review compliance documentation Develop and implement network security monitoring strategies (telemetry, anomaly detection) Lead incident response and recovery measures for faster containment and recovery during security events Advise engineering teams on security best practices and secure design principles

Your Qualifications

Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field Valid experience in network security architecture, preferably in aerospace or critical infrastructure sectors In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies (IP/MPLS, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN) Expertise in security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, PKI, and endpoint protection Experience with secure integration of cloud, satellite, and edge networks Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or Cisco Security (CCNP Security) are a plus
