WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

This internship will provide you with a unique place to acquire deep insight on globally leading


corporates and financial markets. You will join a multi-cultural team with substantial exposure to


banking units across Europe (Madrid, London, Paris, Milan and Warsaw) as well as overseas (US,


LatAm). You will work on projects across industries with our international client base (US, Asia, UK):


? Working with a Sr. Banker and Product Specialists in creating new business opportunities.


? Preparing and delivering client briefings and presentations and supporting other coverage


initiatives.


? Performing financial and strategic business analysis.


? Participating in the preparation and execution of corporate banking transactions including


Global Transaction Banking, Global Debt Financing, Risk Management Solutions and Corporate


Finance / M&A.


EXPERIENCE


? First work experience gained (preferably in activities related to Corporate and Investment


Banking) or a sound passion for financial concepts as well as strategic thinking.


? Good knowledge in Accounting & Financial Statements.


? Strong interest for Finance and Banking products.


EDUCATION


? Degree in Economics, Business Management or Finance preferable.


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE


? Strong academic track record (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting


and/or economics)


? Motivated, proactive behaviour, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, team player


? Highly proficient in spoken and written English. Spanish and German are desirable.


? Microsoft Office Package, proficient level


? Commitment to Banco Santander’s high ethical standards


Our internships last preferably six months. The precise period will be arranged individually.
