We’re looking for a highly skilled iOS Engineer to join our Design System team. This team is at the core of our user experience, developing the critical, shared UI components that empower product teams across Wolt. You'll work in close collaboration with both design and engineering to build the foundation of our product.



This is a distributed cross-functional team consisting of web and mobile engineers, and an engineering team lead. We value autonomy and ownership, and each team member plays a key role in shaping the product and driving it forward.



What you’ll be doing



This is a hands-on technical role focused on developing and maintaining our core mobile UI components on the iOS platform. You will work closely with design and product to ensure our design system is robust, performant, and accessible across all Wolt apps.

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, reusable UI components for iOS

Collaborate closely with product designers to translate design specifications into pixel-perfect and accessible components

Drive the adoption and proper usage of the iOS components by consulting and partnering with product teams across Wolt

Ensure all components adhere to the highest standards of performance, accessibility, and clear documentation

Contribute to key architectural decisions related to the mobile parts of the design system

Our humble expectations

3+ years of software development experience, with a strong background in modern mobile engineering

Expertise in Swift and the iOS SDK, with experience ideally in both UIKit and SwiftUI

Appetite to learn about Android development

A strong commitment to developing highly accessible, performant, and well-tested mobile user interfaces
