In der Zentralbteilung Transfusionsmedizin werden jährlich ca. 20.000 Blutspenden von freiwilligen Spenderinnen als Vollblutspenden oder Apheresespenden (maschinelle Spenden) entnommen und in unterschiedliche Blutprodukte weiterverarbeitet. Darüber hinaus werden Eigenblutspenden, therapeutische Aderlässe, Immuntherapien sowie autologe und allogene Stammzellentnahmen durchgeführt. Im Rahmen der Therapie von GvHD-Erkrankungen finden Photopheresebehandlungen bei transplantierten Patientinnen statt.




Die Abteilung Transfusionsmedizin ist nach DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015 zertifiziert.
