Job Summary:

Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) are a team of field-based, highly trained professionals with strong clinical and/or scientific backgrounds and excellent communication skills. They represent the Medical Affairs organization to the broad medical/scientific community.

Essential Functions of The Job (Key Responsibilities)

Represent the company and lead medical & scientific exchanges within the respective community Develop and lead Key External Experts and investigators engagement plans – identify, develop and maintain long-term collaborative relationship with External Experts and Scientific Bodies. Discuss scientific data on Incyte products with all relevant stakeholders (i.e. hematologists and oncologists). Closely cooperate and align with KAM-team for all activities related to medical information for external groups. Act as point of contact for unsolicited information requests on company inline products and pipeline. Facilitate company sponsored and investigator sponsored trials (ISTs) Provide frequent updates on investigative site support by updating medical/clinical teams with feedback and insights from interactions and discussions with External Experts and investigators. Provide medical/scientific leadership and expertise to internal and external groups Conduct internal trainings on medically relevant topics. Identify and nominate members of the Incyte Speakers' Bureau and ensure they are updated on new clinical data and findings. Lead and support advisory board meetings, round table meetings and investigator meetings. Adhere to corporate SOPs and ensure vigilant compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and guidelines governing scientific interactions with physicians and healthcare professionals across all activities. Share best practice experiences with fellow MSLs. ·Embrace and demonstrate the Incyte Corporate Values. Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics. Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

Fluency in German and proficiency in English are required. An advanced clinical / scientific degree required (e.g. PharmD, PhD, or MD – other doctoral degrees may be considered). Experience in the area of hematology and/or oncology strongly preferred. Previous experience as MSL or other medical function prerequisite. Field experience is a plus. Flexibility, diplomacy, and ability to manage expectations. Problem solving and entrepreneurial skills. Ability to travel frequently with overnight stays (e.g. thought leader visits, internal Incyte meetings, medical meetings and congresses, and training meetings).

Job Summary

Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) sind ein Team von hochqualifizierten, im Außendienst tätigen Fachleuten mit fundiertem klinischem und/oder wissenschaftlichem Hintergrund sowie exzellenten Kommunikationsfähigkeiten. Sie vertreten die Medical Affairs Organisation gegenüber der medizinisch-wissenschaftlichen Fachwelt.

Wesentliche Aufgaben (Hauptverantwortlichkeiten)

Repräsentation des Unternehmens und Führung medizinisch-wissenschaftlicher Gespräche innerhalb der jeweiligen Fachgemeinschaft. Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Engagement-Plänen für Key External Experts und Studienleiter – Identifikation, Aufbau und Pflege langfristiger, kollaborativer Beziehungen zu externen Experten und wissenschaftlichen Organisationen. Diskussion wissenschaftlicher Daten zu Incyte-Produkten mit relevanten Stakeholdern (z. B. Hämatologen und Onkologen). Enge Zusammenarbeit und Abstimmung mit dem KAM-Team bei allen Aktivitäten im Zusammenhang mit medizinischen Informationen für externe Gruppen. Ansprechpartner für nicht angeforderte Informationsanfragen zu Produkten im Portfolio und zur Pipeline des Unternehmens. Unterstützung von unternehmensgesponserten Studien sowie Investigator Sponsored Trials (ISTs). Regelmäßige Rückmeldung zur Unterstützung von Studienzentren durch Weitergabe von Erkenntnissen und Feedback aus Gesprächen mit externen Experten und Studienleitern an medizinische/klinische Teams. Medizinisch-wissenschaftliche Führung und Expertise für interne und externe Gruppen bereitstellen. Durchführung interner Schulungen zu medizinisch relevanten Themen. Identifikation und Nominierung von Mitgliedern des Incyte Speakers’ Bureau sowie Sicherstellung, dass diese über neue klinische Daten und Erkenntnisse informiert sind. Leitung und Unterstützung von Advisory Boards, Round Tables und Investigator Meetings. Einhaltung unternehmensinterner SOPs sowie strikte Beachtung gesetzlicher und regulatorischer Vorgaben für wissenschaftliche Interaktionen mit Ärzten und medizinischem Fachpersonal. Austausch von Best Practices mit anderen MSLs. Verinnerlichung und Demonstration der Unternehmenswerte von Incyte. Aktiver Beitrag zu einer Unternehmenskultur, die von Integrität und ethischem Verhalten geprägt ist.

Qualifikationen (Mindestanforderungen an Ausbildung, Berufserfahrung und Kompetenzen)

Fließende Deutschkenntnisse sowie sehr gute Englischkenntnisse sind erforderlich. Ein fortgeschrittener klinischer/wissenschaftlicher Abschluss ist erforderlich (z. B. PharmD, PhD oder MD – andere Doktorgrade können berücksichtigt werden). Erfahrung im Bereich Hämatologie und/oder Onkologie ist stark bevorzugt. Frühere Tätigkeit als MSL oder in einer anderen medizinischen Funktion ist Voraussetzung. Außendiensterfahrung ist von Vorteil. Flexibilität, diplomatisches Geschick und Fähigkeit zur Erwartungssteuerung. Ausgeprägte Problemlösungs- und unternehmerische Fähigkeiten. Reisebereitschaft mit Übernachtungen (z. B. Besuche bei Meinungsbildnern, interne Incyte-Meetings, medizinische Kongresse und Schulungsveranstaltungen).
