You will gain an insight into the following topics and tasks
Comparative performance evaluation of triple quadrupole (QQQ) and Orbitrap MS systems for biomarker quantification in complex biological matrices.
Development of separation techniques for the analysis of biomarkers using supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC).
Exploration of methods to assess short-lived biomarkers in biological samples.
Method development for SFC and LC-MS.
Preparing and analyzing biological samples (e.g., plasma, urine, tissues).
Participating in experimental design, data analysis, and result interpretation.
Documenting and presenting your findings in collaboration with your supervisor.
Your profile
----------------
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
Strong interest and foundational knowledge in (bio)chemical analytics
Hands-on mentality and willingness to work in a laboratory setting
Motivation to learn and operate advanced MS and chromatography systems
Prior experience with MS or chromatography (SFC, LC-MS) is a plus
Open-minded, communicative personality with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Very good English skills, both written and spoken

2.5 days of paid time off for every full month
