Job Description



Following a comprehensive training, you will establish protocols for enhanced expression of payloads for non-viral T cell engineering and evaluate the potential of this approach for a specific set of applications within an interdisciplinary team. You will learn high throughput cloning procedures, primary T cell handling, state-of-the-art engineering technologies, and will optimize innovative T cell modification protocols. In-depth characterization and functionality tests will be performed to benchmark differently engineered T cells. You will actively work on next-generation technologies aiming to ensure a high quality standard for adoptive T cell therapies. You will have the opportunity to directly experience how the results of your work find their way into practice.


Qualifications



You are passionate about science and currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Biology or Biotechnology or a related field with excellent grades and are about to begin your Master's thesis. You work independently and with a high level of determination and team spirit. You are highly self-motivated with excellent problem solving skills and have demonstrated your ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent written and spoken English skills complete your profile. First experiences in molecular biology, primary T cell culture and, ideally, gene-engineering techniques are a plus.
