About Us:
Role Overview:
As a Marketing Specialist specializing in Content, PR, and Events, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Circunomics' brand presence and communications strategy. You will lead the creation and execution of compelling content, manage public relations efforts, and organize impactful events that align with our mission to create a circular battery economy.
Your profile

• Managing and maintaining a strategic editorial calendar across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent messaging, timely content delivery, and alignment with brand objectives.
• Developing and coordinating a robust multilingual content strategy, adapting content for regional and cultural nuances, and ensuring high-quality, localized content that resonates with diverse audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
• Develop and execute a brand?aligned content and copywriting strategy across digital (Blogs, Email, Social) and print channels, resulting in an increase in organic traffic and a boost in engagement
• Content Localization / Multilingual Strategy - ability to manage and coordinate multilingual content
• Develop and manage a structured intake process to gather insights and input from cross-functional teams (Sales, Dev, etc.), independently create high-quality, engaging content for various platforms, including:

• Blogs, Social Media, Newsletters, Press Releases, and new formats.
• Implementing comprehensive analytics to track key performance indicators such as engagement rates, reach, SEO impact, PR impressions, and ROI from events, ensuring data-driven decision-making and maximizing ROI.
• Pitch stories, secure press coverage, and build relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
• Develop and distribute key PR materials and manage Circunomics' public image through strategic media relations.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute offline and online events such as webinars, conferences, trade shows, and internal meetings.
• Ensure events are aligned with marketing goals and effectively communicate our value proposition.
• Work closely with Sales, Product, and Executive Teams to align marketing efforts with our business objectives.

You have

• 5+ years in marketing, focusing on content creation, PR, and event management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven SEO expertise with experience optimizing content through keyword planning, metadata, and readability improvements.
• Experienced in video content creation and production coordination, handling scriptwriting, storyboarding, production, and post-production.
• Exceptional writing, communication, and project management skills, complemented by demonstrated expertise in crafting compelling content and effectively managing PR campaigns.
• Excellent event planning and project management skills.
• Strong understanding of brand management and storytelling.
• Proficiency in German and English (additional languages is a plus).

Bonus

• Fluency in Digital Content Creation (e.g. Canva, Adobe CC & Figma)
• Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g. HubSpot)
• Interest in Automotive / Cars / Electric Vehicles
• Experience in the tech or sustainability sector

About Us
Circunomics GmbH, based in Mainz, Germany was founded in 2019. Circunomics is leading the industry by offering a comprehensive battery lifecycle management solution. Co-Founders, Felix Wagner and Jan Born are dedicated to establishing a true circular battery economy, which in turn maximizes each stage of battery life. Along with their team, they seek to inspire the movement of batteries from the automotive industry to the energy sector, and finally on to recyclers who close the loop by recovering any remaining raw materials.
Circunomics has developed an AI-powered, B2B marketplace where cells, modules, and packs can be sold and purchased. Through the Circunomics Analytics product, sellers and buyers alike can obtain a detailed view of their assets. From current SoH to 2nd-life simulation, this product allows for a simpler and more profitable lifecycle management. Circunomics knows that lifecycle planning is complex, and the Battery Matchmakers are on a mission to help ease this process for their customers.
The company has been supported thus far by seed investors and business angels. Startup builder Next Mobility Labs, recycler TES, Orlen VC, and Dr. Peter Mertens (former Chief Technology Officer of Audi) are some of the key players. The Series A funding round was completed in December of 2024 with the addition of investors, Schaeffler and GET Fund.
Official expansion into the US Market transpired in January of 2025 with the hiring of Adam Willmouth who will serve as the company's US Managing Director. Circunomics looks forward to further collaboration with current US clients and to further growth within this key global market.
