This is your opportunity to become a member of our Digital Empowerment team within E.ON’s Digital Technology organization. Our role is to empower all employees of the E.ON Group to acquire critical digital skills.


Digital Empowerment provides comprehensive learning experiences in key digital technologies to empower employees to embrace digital change through a structured digital upskilling approach that provides the mindset, skillset and toolset to transform E.ON into an all-digital company.


As Marketing & Communications Expert (Events) (f/m/d) at Digital Empowerment you will be responsible for the conceptualization, planning and execution of events and (local) marketing activities at E.ON locations throughout Germany and the rest of Europe, focused on digital upskilling products for employees to upskill themselves. You will work closely with the upskilling product team(s) to ensure that E.ON employees and the organization are actively engaged in learning.

Conceptualize, plan and execute a variety of communication and engagement activities, such as campaigns, upskilling sessions, and in-person and virtual events. You will own and drive these end-to-end, including promotion, design and delivery to create a group-wide movement amongst employees to learn digital skills Play a key role in increasing employee consumption of learning products and services, as part of the Digital Empowerment upskilling product teams, owning the Go-to-Market strategy. This includes targeting, positioning, and messaging, as well as asset creation for multiple internal channels (e.g. social intranet, digital screens) in a variety of formats (e.g. text, visuals, videos). Ensure customer centricity and data driven approach in all activities to keep learners actively engaged with learning. Ensure a consistent tone of voice in end user communication, bringing the digital upskilling offers to learners in a consistent and understandable manner Continuously improve the creation, scaling and re-use of communication & engagement activities based on measurable impact

Your Profile

– authentic & open-mindedDegree in Communications, Marketing, Event management and/or Media Design Fluent German speaker and excellent command of English, both written and spoken Willingness to travel (up to 40% of the time) throughout Europe, primarily throughout Germany Extended years professional experience in marketing or employer branding with a proven track record of success in design and delivery of marketing activities, including events, preferably in an international matrix setting Experience with internal employees as target group and working in a product centric organization is a plus Interest in and passion for learning, people, technology and the energy transition Excellent skills in MS Teams and Office 365. Knowledge of Miro, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop is desirable Proficiency in agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) A can-do mindset to complete tasks consciously, reliably, and end-to-end, with a high level of personal commitment and the ability to work effectively in a team as well as deliver on your commitments independently.
