Manager Research & Development Technology (f/m/d)
Your Responsibilities:

• Market screening for technologies and processes novel to the marine industry, having the potential to reduce ship energy demand and CO2 emissions
• Initial technoeconomic assessment of high potential candidates, including the application of system simulation technologies
• Initiation and management of R&D projects evaluating aforesaid technologies and processes in depth. This includes development of concepts for system integration into existing and novel ships and finally physical demonstrator installations in cooperation with partners from industry, science, marine regulators and technical ship operation.
• Development of project execution and budget plans and periodic reporting towards internal and external stakeholders

Your Profile:

• Degree inMechanical, Process or Energy Engineering (power generation) or Ship Design / Naval Architecture
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Research & Development, Technical Design Engineering, or (Technical) Program Management
• Desirable would be skills in technical project management, data analytics as well as economic analyses and market studies
• Very good English language skills & good team spirit
• High degree of enthusiasm and curiosity for a new role in a century of fast technical transition
