What to Expect


The role of the Maintenance Coordinator is to optimize expenditures and technician productivity through best practice planning methods that support best practice scheduling and ensure safe, reliable plant operation. The Coordinator works jointly with Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Planner to organize repairs which are production critical equipment in Battery Pack/ Drive Unit

What You'll Do

Facilitate training to manage and maintain/ Establish new Maintenance processes with emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity within BP/ DU Maintenance. Facilitate New hire onboarding and training tasks, Work with the Maintenance Supervisor, and coordinating schedules with their group. This includes training of new hires and cross-training present EMTs Screen all notifications, including emergency notifications. Create detailed job plans for all Maintenance Orders (MO) in area of responsibility, except emergency WO's, via the used system. Create a job plan that goes to the field for use by the appropriate technicians. The job package would include: a copy of the MO; technical service data; reference drawings, any additional safety information. First point of contact to all Equipment’s damage reports. He should be able to analyze the damage & create Notifications, MO’s in Flux. Able to understand and relay knowledge of updated processes and documentation content. Able to jump in and work the production line to understand processes and how to repair/optimize equipment’s through a maintenance perspective. As required, the Planner reviews the cost estimate with the suppliers before proceeding with moving the order to a waiting on spare parts or ready to work revision. Maintain a planned backlog for assigned crews in the areas of responsibility via Flux (Training will be offered for Tesla internal software). Maintain planned repairs in area of responsibility by priority. Produce or assist in creation of schedules for all repairs. Create and maintain Equipment’s database in Flux. This includes data input for equipment, Bill Of Materials (BOM), reusable job plans for repetitive jobs, predictive/preventive maintenance task list, equipment items and maintenance plans.

What You'll Bring

Maintenance experience with 1-2 years of maintenance role (preferred) Understanding of TPM production process and methodology Strong verbal and written (English, German) communication skills, including solid interpersonal skills, could negotiate with Vendors, proficient in computer applications MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Flux) Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, exceptional organizational skills and attention to details collaborative attitude and ability, demonstrates personal leadership and ownership of equipment’s and resolve issues with cross functional teams in Giga & Suppliers Experience in the use of common maintenance management systems (CMMS/SAP) desirable to use Tesla ERP software Flux- Training will be provided. Proven activities in a maintenance environment the ability to interpret and use the following (to develop job plans): Create weekly, Monthly, Yearly Inspections/Checklist according to vendor specification, provide equipment drawings from vendors to technicians, predictive maintenance reporting Create and maintain Preventive/Predictive Maintenance (PPM) tasks/orders via Flux to be used in the scheduling process. Provide input to the planning/scheduling weekly plans and provide services to help maintain KPIs. This includes reporting accurate resource data to the Flux Lead to support scheduling resource leveling. Coordinate WO prioritization with Supervisors and Technicians
