Your Role:apply your deep knowledge in machine learning and computer vision to develop future ZEISS solutions in the area of (semi-)autonomous robotics and assistance systems

build proof-of-concept demonstrators
initiate and manage cooperative research projects
provide technical guidance to students and colleagues
Your Profilean excellent university degree in engineering, computer science or mathematics
a PhD or equivalent work experience
broad experience in realizing assistive or autonomous robotic systems, based on machine learning and computer vision techniques
first experience in proposing, acquiring and managing projects
fluent English language skills, a hands-on mentality, an open mind, excellent problem-solving, communication and innovation skills as well as a clear user focus
passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as fun working in agile, interdisciplinary teams
