As Quantum-Systems continues its rapid global expansion, we are strengthening our Corporate Development function to support the company’s next stage of growth and professionalization. The Corporate Development Manager will play a key role in identifying and executing strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and investment opportunities that accelerate Quantum-Systems’ business and operational maturity. This role requires strong analytical ability, financial acumen, and cross-functional collaboration across finance, strategy, and operations. You’ll work closely with the Finance team, executive leadership, and external advisors to evaluate growth opportunities, structure transactions, and drive strategic initiatives that position Quantum-Systems as a leading European defense-tech innovator.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

Corporate Development & Strategic Transactions

Support end-to-end deal execution — from target identification and valuation to due diligence, negotiation, and integration planning.

Develop financial models, valuations (DCF, comps, precedents), and strategic fit analyses for potential acquisitions and partnerships.
Maintain a structured deal pipeline, tracking potential opportunities and market intelligence across regions and technology domains. Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, R&D, Operations) to ensure alignment between strategic initiatives and financial objectives. Assist in post-transaction integration and synergy realization efforts.

Strategic Planning & Growth Initiatives

Partner with leadership to evaluate build-vs-buy decisions, expansion opportunities, and investment priorities. Contribute to long-term growth strategy, providing data-driven insights on competitive positioning and emerging markets. Prepare board and executive materials summarizing deal progress, market assessments, and strategic recommendations.

Organizational Maturity & Professionalization

Support the scaling and standardization of corporate finance processes, enhancing transparency and decision-making. Work with the finance leadership team to embed best practices in governance, valuation discipline, and capital allocation. Help institutionalize a structured, data-driven approach to strategic growth across the organization.

What you bring to the team:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. 3–8 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate development. Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal execution. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into strategic insights. Proven track record of working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities under tight timelines. Experience in aerospace, defense, or technology sectors is a plus. High attention to detail, analytical rigor, and professional judgment. German (C1) and above is a plus
