As a Logistics IT Implementation Intern, you will…

Project Management:

Oversee the

end-to-end management of transport IT projects

, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that align with project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders involved in DCT projects.

Coordinate and organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions

to ensure follow-up tasks are completed and support successful project deployments.

User Training and Support:

Facilitate hands-on

user training for new DCT systems and processes

. Provide in-depth user support during testing and country-wide deployments, ensuring that system issues are resolved prior to deployment.

Data Management:

Utilize SQL queries and data retrieval techniques to extract relevant information for project needs. Apply data linking methods to

ensure system integrations and maintain data consistency

, supporting decision-making and troubleshooting.

Financial Analysis:

Support transport programs by

providing detailed financial reporting, tracking budgets & costs, and analyzing variances

. Offer analytical support to ensure programs meet financial targets and identify opportunities for cost improvement.

Who are we looking for?

Currently enrolled in a university

based in Germany

and will be enrolled for the entire duration of your internship. Only current students will be considered for this position. You have a

background in IT, Business Management

, or other related fields. You are

eligible to work at least 6 months full time in 2026

(please check with your university). Speaks

fluent English

Collaboration Skills:

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments, fostering a cooperative work environment. Project Management Expertise: Experience in managing complex IT logistics or transport projects is advantageous.

Multitasking Ability:

Capacity to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines.

Technical Knowledge:

Basic understanding of Java and C++ for effective communication with technical teams and troubleshooting.

Software Proficiency:

Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Excel. Proficiency in database management using SQL for data extraction, analysis, and testing.

It will be a plus if you:

Have experience in logistics and supply chain. Hold a recognized project management certification (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2). Knowledge of XML and APIs is a plus. Demonstrated proficiency in project planning, risk management, and resource optimization. Know one of the European languages other than English (e.g., German, French, Spanish). Familiarity with other project management tools (e.g. Jira) and platforms is beneficial.
