We are looking for a Lead Solutions Consultant to assist with leading our go-to-market efforts around the Aviator platform and Artificial Intelligence.

You will consult with our customers and colleagues regarding our exciting and innovative Aviator, AI, and GenAI solutions. You will interact with customers and internal partners across all businesses and regions at OpenText, including our Business Units for Content, LegalTech& AI, Corporate Sales, Portfolio Sales, Digital Experience, OSM, DevOps, Business Network, Cybersecurity, International Sales, and others.

As a trusted advisor regarding AI topics, you will support AI-related internal and customer-facing events on behalf of OpenText. You will help lead and drive success for internal programs regarding AI adoption. You will help lead and support programs designed to scale revenue, including programs for use case capture and development, Sales and Presales enablement, demo readiness and effectiveness, and more. You will interact with senior leaders within OpenText, across our ELT, SLT, and CLT teams, helping our entire organization to demystify AI. This will require support and leadership around AI adoption, internally at OpenText and externally for our customers.

Inspiring others to deliver excellence for customer experiences. Leading by example and scoping the solution requirements of customers and prospects. Articulating the value of OpenText solutions to meet the customer’s needs. Building trust and credibility of the solution experience through a strong background of successful customer relationships. Presenting compelling business cases to customers for technical, business and C-level audiences.

Among the many things you will be doing:



Win projects and drive revenue by helping our customers understand why OpenText is the best choice for their business goals. Qualify opportunities for the appropriate solution from the OpenText portfolio of products. Help our teams by inspiring them, motivating them, and helping to develop them with regard to understanding AI. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to peers and your direct reports by architecting solutions which secure our customers’ business cases and investment decisions. Work closely with cross-BU teams from solutions consulting, sales, and sales management to establish in depth account plans and strategies around AI and Aviator solutions. Work with marketing and sales on competitive intelligence, sales collateral, and solution positioning regarding AI and Aviator solutions. Maintain solid knowledge of many OpenText solutions as well as technical, market and industry knowledge. Maintain a strong, positive working relationship with all other OpenText teams. Help lead and participate in special projects that contribute to the success of all OpenText businesses.

Experience and Education:



At least 5 years’ experience in Presales or professional services supporting any combination of direct sales, indirect sales, and channel sales from a technical standpoint. A deep understanding of OpenText Aviator solutions and/or Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, and Data-centric solutions. A strong track record of engaging with customers in their projects and initiatives. Expert-level presentation development and delivery skills. Hand-on, deeply technical experience with multiple OpenText solutions such as Content Services, Capture, AI& Analytics, SAP and/or other solutions. Working understanding of modern technologies and languages such as Python, R, Javascript, HTML/CSS, JSP, ASP, Web Servers, Unix, Windows, VMWare virtualized platforms, Java Application Servers, relational databases, and more. Working knowledge of Cloud computing strategies, business models, and issues. Understanding of API integrations and how this helps developers solidify application builds. Understanding of IT concepts e.g. SOA, client server, SaaS, protocols. Knowledge of solutions from OpenText ecosystem partners such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft, etc. Excellent customer relations including written and verbal communication skills in English – with other language proficiencies strongly desired. Experience developing and presenting clear and concise messages to both technical and business prospects. Ability to travel inside and outside the United States as necessary. Bachelor’s Degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a software solution selling/value-based selling environment
