YOUR TEAM

You will operate within the domain \"Vehicle Motion & Energy”. You will be part especially with the \"Vehicle Driving Platform - Solution\". At CARIAD, we are the heart of each car and the backbone of driving functions. We establish the interface to the automotive mechatronics within the Volkswagen Group. Our mission is also the enabling of future innovations and new business models. Within your project/ART, you\'ll also ensure the connection between the car and the outside infrastructure.

As a project manager, you\'ll be accountable for technical concepts and system architectures on all levels. Your responsibility will be on both arms of the lifecycle V. Within your responsibility will be the platform-software and the application-software.

You\'ve to align the internal and external customer needs with the development teams by content and time. You\'re responsible for the business goals and the delivery in time. You\'ll be in tight contact with the solution and cross-solution instances. Communication with all stakeholders will ensure the cross domain project success.

We\'re in a transformation process from classical to an agile \"SAFe”-environment. You\'ll build bridges and support this transformation process with your outstanding communication skills. The team, which you will part of, is highly experienced and international. We aim for a solution architecture, which combines flexibility with stability.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Take the responsibility for leading, planning and execution of a computing platform project, including the relevant applications
• Drive a development project for a high-performing, stable and reliable base system and system software in the Vehicle, Motion and Energy domain in cooperation with all brands of VW group
• Act as a primary contact for a set of system functions and requirements, coordinate with suppliers, define team goals and assist team members to reach confirmed targets
• Define and consolidate accurate project planning and reporting across your teams/ART\'s including features like development, technical defect management and continuous improvement process
• Coordinate with stakeholders, interfacing teams, development partners and suppliers to make sure that all parties are in sync with project system requirements, deadlines and schedules
• Facilitate feature and/or change requests to ensure that all parties are informed on the current status and the risks and impacts on schedule and budget
• Define, prepare and moderate central concept, problem-solving and decision workshops

• Successful completed studies in the field of computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a comparable course of studies or you can provide evidence of relevant skills
• Several years of professional experience in the field of technical project management and experience in working with agile and lean methods
• Excellent communication, intercultural and language skills plus you feel comfortable presenting in front of the top management
• Process-oriented and with knowledge of system engineering and/or software development processes and supplier management
• Understanding for technically content as well as its risks and potential impacts on development efforts and the resulting scheduling track
• Strong personality, self-motivated, proactive and dedicated team player with above-average negotiation, problem-solving, moderation and decision-making skills
