Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for coordinating the cargo loading and unloading activities of port personnel to strip containers, transfer cargo to appropriate staging areas and to load customer trucks in Nassau. Coordinates and processes the release of cargo to customers. Responsible for the control and movement of equipment to and from port location.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE: Five year experience in a import/export shipping environment in a lead or supervisory position.
LICENSE: Valid Local Driver's License; Current Forklift Certification
TRAVEL: N/A
PHYSICAL: Operations - Manual dexterity to perform repetitive motion tasks on computer or handheld. Ability to frequently twist, bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb on equipment, push/pull 50 pounds, crawl, lift and carry at least 80 pounds on a daily basis. Able to withstand constant exposure to extreme weather conditions.
