Who we are

The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. The operations takes care of all operations related activities within the battery cell manufacturing. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of corporate product.

Your role and key responsibilities

Responsible for developing and managing a global strategy for recycling and monetizing production scrap across standardized factory blocks Development and implementation of methods, processes, standards and knowledge exchange regarding recycling in PowerCo and worldwide Propose, develop, present and coordinate planning concepts in the field of battery recycling for PowerCo factories and ensure and steer their implementation until handover to operators Responsibility for content creation and implementation of global strategic initiatives in the area of recycling (e.g. regarding partnerships, technology development, benchmarking) together with the relevant specialist functions in the VW Group Taking into account various interests and framework conditions, including responsibility for identifying global and strategically relevant markets, technologies and other developments in the area of recycling within the scope of existing competencies and deriving directional specifications to ensure technological relevance and financial successes

What you bring to the team

Excellent English language skills, (Spanish desirable) Several years of leadership experience Proven management skills Experience in battery cell manufacturing Experience in battery recycling
