Spacecraft Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)


Your Tasks


Development of different satellite concepts and configurations incl. the corresponding subsystem accommodation Coordination of the design with the project team/ system engineering Creation of corresponding configuration, accommodation and interface drawings Coordination of requirements with customers and subcontractors Development and design of satellite structures according to the developed accommodation Creation of associated manufacturing drawings and assembly instructions Creation of documentation such as design and interface descriptions and drawings Development of different concepts for mechanical ground support equipment for satellite handling Support, monitoring and control of subcontractors and suppliers Support of satellite assembly, integration and test Presentation of the results internally and to the customer

Your Qualifications

Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable qualification Several years of professional experience as a design engineer, preferably in the field of satellite technology Knowledge and experience in the use of a 3D CAD system, ideally Siemens NX Confident in dealing with customers, subcontractors and suppliers Willingness to travel Flexibility and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility Fluent in written and spoken German and English language
