Kitchen Assistant (m/f/d) — ROSMARIN Restaurant & Wine Bar, Frankfurt

About ROSMARIN

ROSAMRIN is a modern restaurant & wine bar in central Frankfurt with a Mediterranean-inspired menu (rooted in the herb’s origin), a weather-proof covered terrace, and a private dining room. We run a small, quality-driven kitchen that values precision, cleanliness, and calm service—at lunch and dinner, seven days a week.

The Role

As Kitchen Assistant, you ensure the kitchen runs smoothly: you prepare mise-en-place, keep stations spotless, support service during peaks, and close down safely. You’ll work closely with the Sous Chefs and Chef de Partie, following standards and HACCP at all times. This role is a great entry point with a clear growth path toward Commis Chef.

What you bring

First experience in a professional kitchen (prep, potwash, or runner) or strong motivation to learn, with reliable pace and neat work. Cleanliness mindset and understanding of HACCP basics Physical stamina (standing, lifting up to ~15 kg, working heat/cold) and punctuality. Team player, calm under pressure, respectful communication. Language: Basic German or English (both ideal). Work authorization for Germany.
Compensation & perks

Hourly pay per contract (12,82€ to 14,00€), tip-pool participation per house policy, staff meal, uniforms, and shift drinks. Predictable rota with fair weekends, legal breaks, and leave
