In 2023, we became the lead consultant and On-Site Operations Manager for Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET)—Germany’s state-owned terminal operator, created to respond to the national energy supply challenges triggered by the Ukraine crisis.

Tasks



Assisting in the daily flow of project management, tracking tasks, risk assessments, and cross-team coordination. Joining site visits and on-site meetings to see engineering in action. Supporting quality assurance, safety, and environmental efforts—because doing it right matters. Coordinating with contractors, engineers, and authorities to keep projects moving. Help with permitting processes and liaising with government agencies. Diving into research and analysis to support smart engineering decisions. Be the go-to support for our experienced engineering and project management team.

Requirements



A master’s degree in mechanical, civil, chemical, or electrical engineering (or similar) 0–3 years of experience in engineering or technical roles—ideally in energy or infrastructure A strong desire to learn and grow across multiple functions Basic knowledge of project management tools (MS Office, scheduling tools, etc.) Excellent communication and teamwork skills Fluency in English and German (other languages = bonus points) Willingness to travel internationally when needed
