Overview:

CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Junior Database Administrator to support government contract requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Responsibilities:
Assist in administering, testing, and implementing computer databases. Support coordination of database changes. May assist with security measures. Operate, administer, and maintain databases and servers under supervision. Assist with DBMS installation, configuration, backups, restores, monitoring, and maintenance tasks. Help with ensuring application integration and managing documentation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or AA with 2+ years of experience, or high school with 4 years of relevant experience. An active in scope Secret security clearance. DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 421 Certs: Cloud+ or GSEC or Security+ or SSCP or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks. Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to follow processes, procedures, and direction to support client needs.

Working Conditions:
Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations. Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs. * It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
