Within B. Braun Melsungen AG we are looking for (Junior) Application Manager (f/m/d) Operational Technology for our globally acting Smart Manufacturing Center within the Center of Excellence Infusion and Pain Therapy and the Hospital Care division as soon as possible. The position is located at the Melsungen site.


Following the "Next Decade" corporate strategy and within the global Smart Manufacturing organization, the Smart Manufacturing Center provides systems engineering and best practice solutions for production digitalization, especially in the areas of infrastructure, industrial IOT and cybersecurity. We are active internationally and support our production plants worldwide in the introduction and efficient use of these solutions.

Tasks and responsibilities:

As (Junior) Application Manager (f/m/d) Operational Technology, you support solutions for operation of OT systems, such as backup, restore and disaster recovery, secure remote access, and asset management You ensure the availability of the required operational and user documentation You support colleagues in our production plants world-wide during roll-out and operation of these standard solutions and also ensure adequate support by our system suppliers You prepare training material and provide training to local experts You support manufacturing digitalization projects in the areas of network infrastructure, equipment integration, and security You further develop existing solutions in cross-functional expert teams and identify the need for new solutions to support the production plants in achieving their goals You support our production sites with expert knowledge during operations, including continuous improvement of available solutions according to evolving business needs and in line with global harmonization projects

Professional Qualifications:

You completed your BA studies in computer science or electrical engineering or acquired a comparable qualification, i.e. via an appropriate apprenticeship You already obtained useful experience in IT / OT operation and support in the manufacturing industry or in an industry-related, comparable environment You are familiar with the relevant concepts/technologies in the context of Industrial Automation & Control Systems / IEC 62443 You have reached a good level of spoken and written German and English You are willing to travel
