Description

We are looking for a reliable Accountant to support the daily work in our finance department. The role includes processing transactions, keeping records accurate and up to date, and ensuring smooth financial processes. This position is well-suited for someone with a good understanding of accounting basics, who works carefully and with a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts receivable and payable

Posting invoices, reconciling open items, monitoring outstanding payments, and clarifying payment differences

Bank and payment transactions

Posting bank entries, reconciling accounts, executing payment runs, handling petty cash and reimbursements

Financial reporting and closing

Preparing simple reports (e.g., expenses, balances) and supporting monthly and annual financial statements in line with HGB/US-GAAP

Documentation and communication

Filing and organizing financial documents as well as liaising with internal departments and external partners

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification Experience in accounting (accounts receivable/payable and bookkeeping basics) Confident use of Microsoft Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems (Oracle or comparable) Very good German and English skills, spoken and written Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented way of working with a high sense of responsibility Team spirit, good communication skills, and discretion in handling confidential data
