Your Tasks


Would you like to contribute to the future of space travel and develop innovative IT solutions for satellite manufacturing? Then you've come to the right place!

We are looking for a motivated IT System Specialist (m/f/d) to join our dedicated AIT team and support us in the implementation and maintenance of IT systems. These systems play a central role in supporting our satellite manufacturing and testing processes.

Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders to analyze requirements, develop suitable solutions, and gather feedback Active participation in improving existing systems Administration and maintenance of the AIT's central IT infrastructure with regard to IT security Integration and configuration of IT systems into new and existing infrastructures Planning and operation of IT systems to meet customer requirements Development of new network concepts Preparation of procurements in cooperation with the purchasing department for hardware and software components Support in the definition, development, and maintenance of processes, tools, facilities, and technologies Participation in the evaluation and assessment of new technologies Provision of IT technical support for AIT employees and troubleshooting Support for AIT Services, Remote Access Gateway, Remote Test Campaign Support, and AIT Mission Control Center Documentation of IT systems and processes

Your Qualifications

Successfully completed training as an IT specialist, degree in computer science or comparable qualification Administration of Linux/Windows systems Good knowledge of networks and network security (e.g., LAN, WAN, firewalls) Knowledge of virtualization (servers and desktops) Ability to quickly and independently familiarize yourself with new tasks Independent and structured way of working Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in a team Very good written and spoken English

Ansible Guacamole Icinga VM Ware ESXi Experience with the following IT Equipment manufacturers: Aruba / HPE, Fortinet, Dell, FS
