Job Description

Tipico is looking for an IT Security Engineer to join our team. Grow with us, introduce us to new ideas, and develop products that maximize the thrill of sports for our customers. Every day, you’ll work in a highly collaborative and agile environment with cross-functional team members to develop products and create technical solutions that push us forward.

Your playing field:

You keep us running by executing penetration tests and managing the outcoming results As a Security Professional you will be setting alerts and handling security incidents Collaboration is the way we work and therefore you will find security issues and follow up on their resolution We want to stay on top of the game and because of that you have to review and improve the security configurations across the whole Tipico systems We strive in making our product smarter, simpler, and safer: You will design security solutions f.e. consulting development, infrastructure, and corporate systems

Qualifications

Which skills should you bring to the pitch:

Computer Science Background.

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Expertise.

You have the first experience with K8s Security and Network Security

Testing.

Penetration testing is part of your strengths

Education.

Security certifications (f.e. CISSP or Security+) are on your side

Solid knowledge.

You have an understanding of security concepts and other commonly accepted standards (f.e. NIST, OWASP, CIS Benchmarks, Trust Services principles)

Working environment.

You know infrastructure, key processes, and technology-oriented risk issues, specifically around security and privacy

Communication skills.

You have excellent communication skills - both verbally and in writing - with technical and non-technical audiences of various levels

Good knowledge of language skills

. Fluent in English and German is a plus
