IT Security Engineer

You can look forward to

Analysis of incidents such as potential cyberattacks as well as spam and phishing attacks for early detection and containment of threats. Research and classification of threats as well as identification and closure of vulnerabilities in the areas of network, storage, cloud and email. Determination of the causes of attacks, support in the restoration of affected services, and continuous monitoring of IT systems for suspicious activities. Planning and implementation of measures to comply with regulatory and legal IT security requirements. Conception and execution of workshops and presentations to promote security awareness, as well as development of threat models for internal training.

You come equipped with

Several years of professional experience in IT security in an international environment, particularly in the development of IT security architectures Experience with enterprise networks and cloud environments, as well as in the implementation and operation of complex network and security solutions In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including network protocols, scripting, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and Windows, Linux, and cloud-based workplace systems and servers Business-fluent proficiency in both German and English Strong ability to maintain an overview in complex situations, combined with a sense of responsibility and an eye for innovation
