The IT Project Manager takes a leading role in advancing Budenheim’s

Data Driven Factory transformation;

our global effort to harness data and technology across our global production and business processes.


Acting as both a technical expert and strategic coordinator, you connect IT, production, and business units to turn digital concepts into measurable outcomes. You translate complex requirements into actionable roadmaps, guide cross-site delivery, and ensure that Industry 4.0 solutions unlock real value for our people and processes.


As a trusted partner to senior management and local teams, you bring structure, clarity, and momentum to Budenheim’s evolution into a truly data-driven enterprise. This role reports directly to the Head of Technology Solutions and requires regular onsite presence at our headquarters and international sites.

Your Tasks

Lead and manage strategic IT projects as part of Budenheim’s

Data Driven Factory transformation journey

, ensuring delivery on time, scope, and budget Prioritize and oversee the IT project portfolio to align with Budenheim’s long-term strategic objectives and available resources Coordinate cross-functional teams and international partners, fostering effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle Identify risks and design mitigation strategies to safeguard business continuity and project success Act as the central contact for stakeholders, including senior management and local site leaders worldwide, ensuring transparency and alignment

Your Profile

Degree in Business Informatics, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or comparable qualification) Proven experience in leading IT projects within industrial or technical environments Familiarity with Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, or data-driven production processes Strong stakeholder management, communication, and

intercultural collaboration skills

across global teams Experience in

change management

, guiding organizations and teams through digital transformation Fluent in English; German is a plus
