Join Our IT Infrastructure Team as a Network Engineer (m/f/d) in Berlin!


Are you ready to take on responsibility and shape the future of network infrastructure? We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer (m/f/d) to join us at our Berlin office as soon as possible.


In this role, you’ll plan, operate, and further develop our company-wide network infrastructure—ensuring it stays secure, high-performing, and future-proof.

Tasks inspiring you

Plan, implement, and manage network components (LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers) Ensure network availability, performance, and security across all company locations Monitor, analyze, and optimize the network using modern monitoring and diagnostic tools Contribute to exciting projects like site interconnectivity, network segmentation, and zero trust architecture Handle complex incidents and troubleshoot network issues (2nd and 3rd level support) Create and maintain technical documentation and network topologies Collaborate closely with other IT teams—Security, Server, and Cloud—to ensure smooth operations

Your tasks in detail:Network infrastructure planning, configuration, and installation Network monitoring and performance optimization Network security and access control (e.g., IDS, firewalls) Cloud and hybrid networking Incident response and troubleshooting Inter-site connectivity (internal and customer-facing)

Qualifications that inspire us

A degree in IT, network engineering, or equivalent training with solid professional experience Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, and QoS Hands-on experience with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VRF, or MPLS Familiarity with hardware and solutions from leading vendors (e.g., Cisco, HPE/Aruba, Fortinet) Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, Zabbix) Ideally, some background in network security, firewall configuration, and NAC solutions Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible) are a big plus. Very good German and solid English skills, both written and spoken Bonus points for experience with cloud networking and firewalling (e.g., AWS, GCP)
