IT Governance and Control Expert (all genders) at Corporate & Institutional Banking

The IT Production Security Department is a transversal function within the ITGP organization, providing security services for entities across the German territory. Our mission is to protect production IT environments by implementing robust security controls, managing vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with BNP Paribas Group and regulatory requirements. We work closely with IT and business unites to integrate security into operations, respond to incidents and proactively mitigate risks, ensuring a resilience and secure infrastructure for all supported entities.


We are seeking an IT Governance & Control Expert to enhance IT Production Security Department and Governance & Monitoring Team. The IT Production Security department provides security services for the IT Production of several BNP Paribas entities in Germany.

Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you

Supporting the implementation of the BNPP IT Governance framework in the IT Production Security department.
Maintenance of the procedure repository and support the creation of procedures or the transfer of local procedure in entities into transversal versions
Answering Audit requests and support the delivery to Audit recommendations in the IT Governance area
Collecting evidence for the Global Control Campaigns
Maintaining the IT Production Security Service Catalogue
Monitoring SLA’s and inform about deviations
Monitoring IT Production metrics

Expertise & Soft Skills: What you offer

Degree in IT or related subject and/or equivalent vocational training/work experience
Knowledge of the principles of Information security and security standards for information systems
Strong expertise in current Security technologies, IT-Governance and compliance
Experience conducting internal and external audits
Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance tools
Strong knowledge of governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR
Experience in designing and implementing internal controls and risk mitigation strategies
Ability to assess and enhance organizational policies, procedure and security controls
Strong technical skills (particularly in IT and IT security) with demonstrated experience in technical writing
Good organization and coordination competences, including the preparation of detailed plans
Fluent in German and English
