How you’ll make an impact

You define the data architecture and data relationships in the current IT tool setup to support the business requirements: What data is needed, where is the data coming from, what needs to be done in terms of data quality? You support the business colleagues by defining the data architecture, for example Corporate Sustainability Recording Directive CSRD reporting, Material Master Data and all structures in between. You cover the need for robust eco design, reporting and product lifecycle management for our complete portfolio (medium voltage switchgear and components, automation and protection equipment, busbar trunking systems, outdoor distribution systems, power distribution cabinets and motor control centers). You support the implementation of new IT tools and the improvement of our existing IT landscape to increase data quality, ensure data flows, define unified data models and more. You coordinate with business and IT colleagues from requirements specification to implementation and testing. You coordinate dedicated initiatives and projects.

Your defining qualities

You have professional experience as a solution architect and data engineer with practical experience of data modeling and in Databases (SQL) to embed SAP, and PLM software, ideally Teamcenter and the related data. You have experience in IT project management, and you are familiar with modern software development methods, such as test-driven, agile development. You are familiar with data governance aspects and have experience in working with data meshes and creating data products. You are highly interested in topics of sustainability, understand the business processes in the SCM environment, are open-minded and have the desire to get involved in a variety of data engineering initiatives in a diverse environment. Your growth mindset and communication skills are outstanding, and you have great cross-business and cross-funcional collaborations skills. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and proficiency in English and German completes your profile.
